Paranoia [noun.]

by book it means "An unfounded fear or suspicion that something or someone means you harm"

But when you flip it through the lens of faith, it changes.

The world teaches paranoia as fear without proof,

but in God’s kingdom, fear is proof that we’ve taken our eyes off Him.

When you walk with God, you realize the only one watching you that close

ain’t an enemy—it’s Him.

He sees every thought, every stumble, every prayer you didn’t even finish.

The enemy wants you paranoid about people,

but God wants you aware—

aware of His presence, His protection, His plans.

In the Bible it says, “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

And in that, love becomes the cure—

because perfect love, His love,

casts out fear.

So maybe the real opposite of paranoia

isn’t peace…

it’s trust.
